Day 15 - Award Ceremony & Cricket

Day 15 29/7/2025 St. Lawrence College  → Broadstairs Cricket Club It’s the second-to-last day in the UK! We’re both excited and sad. We’ll miss the UK very much!   In class, we did a speaking activity where we described our whole UK trip in one word. Then, we made a thank-you card for Ms. Brown. It was very emotional! We even cried a little.             Afterward, we happily walked to the Broadstairs Cricket Club to try playing cricket. The teachers taught us how to throw the ball and how to hit it with a bat. It was thrilling to listen to their instructions! Before the lesson ended, we played a really fun game. Everyone was laughing as they left!     Following the amazing cricket activity, Ms. Brown picked us up early, and we went home to pack our things. Later, we went to a park to take some photos together. These are such great memories! We’ll miss the UK very much, and we hope we can come back again someday! By Pansy, Hazel...

Stepping inside, we were stunned once again. The colorful stained-glass windows were crystal clear, and the images on them were breathtaking. As we walked around, admiring the architecture and listening to its history, everything felt almost unreal. At one point, we heard a choir practicing. Their voices carried an incredibly s...
