Day 16 - Oxford → London Heathrow Airport → Hong Kong

Day 16 30/7/2025 Ramsgate  →  Oxford  →   London Heathrow Airport  →   Hong Kong Today was our last day in the UK, and we were very sad to leave. Before saying goodbye to our host family, we hugged them tightly. It was hard to say goodbye. Afterward, it took us three hours to go to Oxford University. The campus felt like its own little city, with stunning buildings everywhere.    We spent the rest of the afternoon visiting shops, picking up souvenirs, and grabbing a quick meal before heading to the airport. Then we said our goodbyes to Mr. David's family there. It was sad, but we’re confident that we’ll meet again someday. Finally, we boarded the plane and arrived in Hong Kong after twelve hours. Our journey came to an end and we look forward to visiting the UK next time. Thank you to Mr. David, Ms Ashley, our school principal and teachers. By Hannah and Lauren

Day 15 - Award Ceremony & Cricket

Day 15 29/7/2025 St. Lawrence College  → Broadstairs Cricket Club It’s the second-to-last day in the UK! We’re both excited and sad. We’ll miss the UK very much!   In class, we did a speaking activity where we described our whole UK trip in one word. Then, we made a thank-you card for Ms. Brown. It was very emotional! We even cried a little.             Afterward, we happily walked to the Broadstairs Cricket Club to try playing cricket. The teachers taught us how to throw the ball and how to hit it with a bat. It was thrilling to listen to their instructions! Before the lesson ended, we played a really fun game. Everyone was laughing as they left!     Following the amazing cricket activity, Ms. Brown picked us up early, and we went home to pack our things. Later, we went to a park to take some photos together. These are such great memories! We’ll miss the UK very much, and we hope we can come back again someday! By Pansy, Hazel...
